Dan Brown (born in Exeter, New Hampshire, USA, June 22, 1964, age 53) is a novel writer famous for The Da Vinci Code. His work has been printed and transcribed into 40 countries around the world, and filmed with the male lead actor playing Robert Langdon of Tom Hanks, French actor Jean Reno plays Bezu Fache police detective. The film was released in mid-2006 and directed by Ron Howard. Dan Brown, the eldest son of three siblings, is a graduate of the Amherst University and Phillips Exeter Academy. Before becoming a writer, he once worked as an English teacher. Dan Brown currently resides in New England.
