First published as a book: 1969 The novel does not use the connection to the characters of the "Eternal Hero" cycles that is otherwise frequent in Moorcock's work; nevertheless, it was published in 1993 in the Moorcock series "The Eternal Champion" along with the novels "The Black Corridor" and "The Distant Suns" in the anthology "Sailing to Utopia".
